Chapter Three: Belle and the Beast
"Christine. . . .Christine. . . ." The voice sang. "Christine. . ."
Christine knew that voice, better than she knew her own. It had always been with her, and she knew it always would be. She looked around her, trying to focus on the voice, to figure out where it was coming from.
Christine realized that she was in her secret room: the room back at the Opera House where she lit candles for her father every night, the place where she prayed for her loved ones. But more importantly, the place where she sang.
